-About Me-

My name is Danielle, I am a mother of 2 and I now run my store Earth's Remedies out of my home. I am on my journey to creating a healthier home and community by removing the harsh chemicals in many of the products in the stores today and giving the people of my community and across the United States options to purchase those products that are all natural and have the convenience of them delivered right to your front door. Over the last year me and my husband have merged the healthier choices in our lifestyle into our home by making things ourselves that are just as effective, low cost, and have no chemicals. Everything that I sell has been tested and used by myself and is regularly used in my home. I have made the decision to make wellness my number one goal for this year and I want to be able to share my products with you and your loved ones to help bring a longer healthier life to others. I hope you gain important information from my website and products and they leave you fully satisfied each and every time you use them. Good luck to you on your journey to a healthy life!

Plants and their use in medicine goes back thousands of years. There are references to plants being used in medicine on papyrus writings from the Ancient Chinese and Ancient Egyptians too. It is fair to say that from as early as 3000 BC plants have been used in medicine. Sometimes herbs and plants were used in healing rituals by various insidious cultures while others created more traditional medical systems with them. An example of this is Chinese medicine which of course is still in existence to this day.
It wasn’t until the 19th Century that scientists began looking more closely at the compounds of plants and analyzing their active compounds. As they began extracting the active ingredients and experimenting with them more sophisticated remedies were produced. Shortly after chemists began creating pharmaceutical replicas of the plant compounds and at this stage drugs became more heavily relied upon than natural plant remedies. A large number of pharmaceutical drugs however are derived from plant compounds.

-Why is natural better?-

Think about all of the products you may use on a daily basis that may come in contact with your skin. Clothes, moisturizers, cleansers, fragrances, city treated water during showering, deodorant, the list goes on. Remember, it’s not only what you eat that matters, but also what you put on your skin. Natural skin care is one of the best choices you can make for your health. As the largest organ of the body, your skin not only absorbs lots of nutrients, but it can also take in a number of toxins each day. Since your skin acts as your body’s barrier against those toxins, it’s so important to be aware of just what you’re using! If you’re putting dangerous ingredients on your skin, you can bet those are getting into your body—exactly where they don’t belong. For example, many traditional skin care products can contain endocrine-disrupting phthalates or parabens. While these poisons can cause reproductive issues, they’re also linked to increased cancer risk, and studies also suggest the more products you use, the higher toxic concentrations can get in your body. And, because cosmetics are notorious for having these toxic ingredients, I suggest avoiding makeup completely. But if you must use it, why not look for natural or organic makeup instead? Many of us can use up to 10 skin care products each day; that could be 10 products full of toxic chemicals! Going organic with your skin care routine will help your skin and body steer clear of those toxins—and there are other perks! A recent study suggests using natural ingredients for skin care can help treat hyper-pigmentation and inflammation. Herbal medicine aims to return the body to a state of natural balance, so that it can start healing itself. Different herbs act on different systems of the body.
